Dr CHARIKA Channuntapipat (Bo)

Charika is a researcher and lecturer in Accounting, who is interested in how accounting (as a science and as a set of tools) can help promote sustainability and sustainable development. Also, she is interested in the influences of accounting and accounting numbers on society and how different people act upon them. My research interests lie in the broad areas of corporate disclosures, assurance and accountability, corporate social responsibility, roles of professional bodies, and accounting education.

My professional background is in the areas of consultancy, and corporate banking. My greatest aspiration is to have resources and skills that are essential to make significant social contributions.

Charika is currently working at Thailand Develpopment Research Institute (TDRI). Her research focuses on sustainability governance; and responsible business and sustainable development.

Prior to joining TDRI, she had worked at Birmingham Business School for about 4 years (2017-2021) as a Lecturer in Accounting.
